IELTS Writing Checker assesses IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 essays: a band score against all four official assessment criteria, plus a breakdown of the specific errors holding the score down and what to fix to reach a target band.
There is no subscription requirement and no free-trial auto-charge. You buy assessment credits and spend them when you want them.
One credit = one full assessment of one essay. That includes the overall band score, all four criterion scores (Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range & Accuracy), an itemised list of errors with explanations and corrections, and a summary of what to change to reach your target band.
Credits do not expire. Writing, saving and reviewing essays, browsing practice tasks, and viewing your past results and progress are all free and do not consume credits.

Renews automatically every month until cancelled. Credits are added to your balance at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time — cancelling stops future renewals and you keep any credits already granted. See the Refund Policy for how partial periods are treated.
All prices are shown in US dollars. Depending on your country, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout and will be shown before you confirm payment.
On the web, payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction — Paddle handles payment, tax and receipts, and will appear on your bank or card statement. In the Android app, purchases are handled by Google Play Billing under Google's terms.
We may change prices as the product develops. Any change applies to future purchases only — it never affects credits you have already bought, and an active monthly plan will not have its price changed without advance notice.
